PPS Industries
Professional Plating Services was founded in 1974 by Mike Evans and his longtime friend Denis Blagden. Mike started by mixing chemicals for the electroplating and polishing industry out of his parents garage in Mangere.
Success followed and by 1977 the team had larger premises and established a reputation for supplying high quality products at great value prices.
In 1996 we shortened our name to PPS Industries Ltd and Robert Evans joined the business working for his father. The product range expanded as our reputation grew. We now represent most of the global industry brands for cutting and polishing.
PPS is an industry leader in the distribution of abrasives, engineering supplies, chemicals, cutting oils and coolants and polishing products. We also supply a large range of consumables for the metal finishing industry and speciality chemicals.
Today, PPS Industries Ltd is owned and run by the two founding families with the second generation now at the helm.
We embrace modern digital business practice as well as traditional business relationships forged face to face. Our reputation is built on underlying trust forged over time by our reliability and consistency.
